CHP to Offer Teen Driver Safety Class
The Start Smart program is scheduled for Feb. 23.
The Moorpark office of the California Highway Patrol is once again offering its free Smart Start teen driver safety class.
The program, for teen drivers and their parents, is aimed at helping future and newly licensed realize the responsibilities that accompany the privilege of driving and to help reduce the number of teenage injuries and deaths resulting from traffic collisions.
The two-hour class covers information on defensive driving, California traffic laws, dynamics of traffic collisions, tips on avoiding traffic collisions and DUI awareness.
