Man Hurt in 118 Freeway Crash

The crash on the eastbound SR 118 -- at the Tapo Canyon Road entrance ramp -- was reported at 11:39 a.m.

A man suffered major injuries in a crash on the 118 Freeway in the Moorpark area, officials said Saturday.

The crash on the eastbound side -- at the Tapo Canyon Road entrance ramp -- was reported at 11:39 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Paramedics with the Ventura County Fire Department went to the scene, the CHP reported.

The man was reportedly lying -- he was conscious -- in the far left lane.
