Man Robs Thousand Oaks Bank

The man acted alone, according to the Sheriff's Department.

A man in his 40s got away with an undisclosed amount of money when he robbed a Thousand Oaks Chase Bank at about 3 p.m. Saturday, according to a statement issued by the Ventura County Sheriff's Department Sunday evening.

The Sheriff's press release said the man used a demand note and no weapon at the bank, located at 148 W. Hillcrest Drive. Nobody was injured, according to the statement.

The Sheriff's Department described the man as white, with very short hair and a receding hairline. He is between five foot, seven inches and five foot, nine inches tall and between 180 to 200 pounds, it said. Also, the release noted the man wore prescription glasses.
