A vehicle slammed into a tree Thursday in Moorpark, trapping and injuring an occupant, fire officials said.
The crash was reported at 5:20 p.m. on Miller Parkway, near Shawnee Court, according to Ventura County fire dispatcher.
The person was taken to a hospital, she told Patch.
