The following Moorpark incidents were among the official reports of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for arrests reported May 5-11. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
Vandalism
On May 7, a minor was arrested for vandalizing property on the 13000 block of Christian Barrett Drive.

On May 9, someone spray painted graffiti on property on the 100 block of Yeta Lancy Road.
Theft

Some time between Feb. 13 and May 6, someone stole electronic items from a trailer on Spring Road.
On May 5, someone cut the vinyl roof of a car on Spring Road and took items from it.
On May 5, a 19-year-old woman was arrested for taking items from Khols.
On May 6, someone took two gas-powered weed eaters and a lawn mower from an unattended truck on Laurelhurst Road. The person cut through two padlocks securing the items.
On May 7, someone took items from a home on Cherry Grove Street after forcing entry into a side entrance.
On May 8, a 44-year-old man and a 35-year-old man were cited for taking avocados without permission. The 35-year old, who had an outstanding warrant, was also arrested for providing false information to a police officer.
Also there were two cases of identity theft reported, one between April 10 and 25 and one between May 9 and 11.
Controlled substance and alcohol-related arrests
On May 7, four people were arrested on possession of drug paraphernalia charges near Bard and High streets. Of the four, a 24-year-old woman was also arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
On May 7, a 24-year-old woman was arrested for being drunk in public.
On May 10, an 18-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance when he showed up to a probation visit in that state.
Other arrests
On May 6, two men, one 20 and one 33-year-old, were cited for trespassing on railroad property.
