A Simi Valley woman died Wednesday in her second accident of the day.
According to a statement from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, Eydie Ann Brewer, 55, and a passenger in her vehicle were assisted by Thousand Oaks Police Department deputies in a non-injury collision at about 4:06 p.m.
A short time later, Eydie Brewer was involved in another accident, the statement said. Brewer and a 6-year-old female passenger were taken to a hospital, where Brewer died, according to the statement, which also reported the young girl suffered minor injuries.
Details of the accidents were not immediately available. Both collisions are under investigation by the TOPD.
