23-118 Connector to Close -- Again -- Next Weekend
It's the second time this month. Caltrans workers will be repairing the expansion joints.
For the second time this month, a bridge carrying traffic from Ventura County to the San Fernando Valley will close for 55 hours to allow for emergency repairs.
The connector bridge between the northbound Moorpark (23) Freeway to the eastbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway needs immediate repair of its expansion joints, Caltrans officials said.
The connector between Moorpark and Simi Valley will close from 10 p.m. next Friday until 5 a.m. Feb. 24, according to Caltrans.

During the weekend-long closure, traffic will be detoured onto Los Angeles Avenue and other surface streets in Moorpark, or Olsen Road past the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library into Simi Valley.
The bridge work prompted a 55-hour closure from Feb. 7-9, Caltrans reported.
