23-118 Freeway Connector to Close Next Weekend
That stretch of the road needs immediate repair of its expansion joints, Caltrans officials said.
A freeway bridge carrying traffic from Ventura County to the San Fernando Valley will close for 55 hours next weekend, to allow for emergency repairs.
The connector bridge between the northbound Moorpark (23) Freeway to the eastbound Reagan (118) Freeway needs immediate repair of its expansion joints, Caltrans officials said.
The 23 to 118 connector, between Moorpark and Simi Valley, will close from 10 p.m. next Friday until 5 a.m. the next Monday, Feb. 10.

During the weekend-long closure, traffic will be detoured onto Los Angeles Avenue and other surface streets in Moorpark, or Olsen Road past the Reagan Library into Simi Valley.
Traffic from the San Fernando Valley into Ventura County will not be
affected, Caltrans officials said.
