Check who won and which propositions passed in Tuesday's elections.

Ventura County had a 25.1 percent voter turn-out. Out of 406,644 registered voters, 101,986 voted, according to the Ventura County clerk recorder.

Below are the results of Tuesday's elections, as of 4:43 a.m. Wednesday, according to the California Secretary of State.

Please note that county elections officials have until July 6 to report final official results to the Secretary of State.

26th Congressional District

Tony Strickland, 44.2 percent

Julia Brownley, 26.8 percent

Linda Parks, 18.5 percent

27th State Senate District

Fran Pavley, 49.4 percent

Todd Zink, 50.6 percent

44th State Assembly District

Jeff Gorell, 57.9 percent

Eileen MacEnery, 23.4 percent

Thomas Mullens, 18.7 percent

Proposition 28: Term limits

Yes, 61.4 percent

No, 38.6 percent

Proposition 29: Cigarette tax

Yes, 49.2 percent

No, 50.8 percent

Brownley would be a terrible choice for the 26th district. She showed her true nature by the attacks during the campaign and why would anyone support this phony carpetbagger.
