Former Florida governor Jeb Bush will visit Ventura County early next month.
Bush will be at the Reagan Presidential Library to discuss the need to restore "America's Promise," along with the leadership and policy changes he believes are required to turn the country around.
He will also sign copies of his new book, Immigration Wars: Forging an American Solution (publish date March 5).
Bush served as the 43rd governor of Florida from 1999 through 2007. He was only the third Republican elected to the office and the only one of his party to be reelected. According to the Wall Street Journal, Bush's close aides and friends report he is actively weighing a run in the 2016 presidential race.
The event begins at 10:30 a.m. with the book signing followed by his talk at 11:30 a.m. and a lunch—included with the $55 ticket price—is at 12:30 p.m.
