America's Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College, along with the Moorpark College Foundation, will have a fundraiser, Rendezvous at the Zoo, Thursday.
The event will include a night out under the stars with live music, hors d'oeuvres, wine and other beverages and a silent auction and, of course, the zoo's animals.
Proceeds of the event will help support student scholarships, animal medical care, zoo betterment projects and the implementation of multi-species exhibits.
Tickets are $40 (plus a $1 preocessing fee) in advance online or $55 at the door. Free parking will be available. You must be 21 or older to attend.
