The Moorpark High School football team lost by a mere one point Friday night to Palos Verdes High School.
Going into the game, the Musketeers had a 3-1-0 record to the Sea Kings' 1-3-0, but Palos Verdes was able to outscore Moorpark 35 to 34, according to statistics on MaxPreps.com.
The Musketeers next take on Calabasas High School at Calabasas on Sept. 28. Calabasas has won only one of its games so far this season and will be coming frmo a Friday night loss to Simi Valley, who beat them 46-17.
