Moorpark Woman Wins Lakers Contest
Katie Brooks entered the "Lakers Most Valuable Fan Photo Experience" by submitting an entry form at the Denny's restaurant in Moorpark.
Katie Brooks and her son, Jaden, are huge Lakers fans. They never miss watching their favorite basketball team on television, but they'd never been to a live game before last week.
That changed on March 20 when the mother-son duo got to attend a game as part of Brook's winnings in a contest held jointly by the Lakers and Denny's restaurants.
Weekly Katie and Jaden go to Denny's after Jaden's sports practices and on one of their visits, Katie submitted an entry form to the "Lakers Most Valuable Fan Photo Experience" contest. And she won.

Last Wednesday, she and Jaden visited the Lakers' El Segundo practice faciity, where they were presented with their own custom Lakers jerseys and then given a behind-the-scenes tour. Finally, they got to take a photo with the team before heading out to watch the game live.
