It was a big day on the back hills of Moorpark, where the fourth annual Scott Medlock and Robby Krieger Concert and Golf Classic took place Monday.
The event, which was hosted at the Moorpark Country Club, attracted rockers like Tommy Thayer, guitarist for Kiss; Donny Seraphine, drummer for Chicago; Grammy Award-winning singer songwriter Jonny Lang and, of course, Krieger himself, guitarist for the Doors. Medlock is a sports artist.
For the first time, proceeds from the tournament went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In the past, the event has benefitted the Pat Tilman Foundation.
