Youth Basketball Registration to Begin Soon
Register for the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center's youth basketball program March 8 and 9.
It's nearly time to register for the Arroyo Recreation Center's youth basketball program.
Players of all skill levels are welcome to play. The program is separated into three divisions: Rookie division is for ageas 5-7; Junior Division is for ages 8-10 and Teen Division is for ages 11-13.
Games are played Saturdays and weekly practices are scheduled by coaches and will begin the week of March 25.

Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis from 4 to 6 p.m. March 8 and 9 to 11 a.m. March 9. First, register in the center's office and then proceed to the gym for your player's evaluation.
Cost is $68 for rookie division players and $78 for the other two divisions. Fees include a shirt, award, team photo and pizza party.

Youth scholarships are available to Moorpark children. Scholarships can be used toward fees for city recreation programs including classes, sports leagues and camps. For information on the scholarship program or for a brochure and application, call 805-517-6300.
