Free, Fun Stuff for Families This Week

Stay cool today. Have a Slurpee or see a $1 movie. Then cap off the week with a free taste of Starbucks' new energy drink.

As temperatures soar and with school opening more than a month away, there's no shortage of fun things to do this week with the family. The best part is they're free, or almost!

Wednesday

For its 85th birthday today, 7-Eleven will dole out free 7.11 oz. Slurpees. Compared to last year's 5 million freebies, the convenience store giant is prepared to hand out 10 million of the refreshing drink today.
