America's Teaching Zoo

<p>America's Teaching Zoo is a small, family-friendly zoo located on the campus of Moorpark College. It is open to the public each Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for children and seniors. </p> <p>During the week when it is not open to the public it used for student's in Moorpark College's EATM program who are studying for a career related to Zoo animals/operations.</p> <p>Some of the latest additions to the zoo include one miniature pot-bellied pig, three donkeys, two llamas, one bobcat, one lynx, one miniature zebu and one squirrel monkey. It joins a current zoo population of more than 200 animals.</p> <p>Each weekend, there are animal shows on the hour from noon - 3pm and a carnivore feeding demonstration at 3:30pm.</p> <p><b> </b></p>
