Ventura County Fire Station 42

<p>Station 42 is part of the Ventura County Fire Protection District. The department, in addition to fire protection, provides medical aid, rescues, hazardous materials response and a variety of other services.</p> <p>Station 42 has a two-story office and crew quarters and, in case you were wondering, yes -- it has a slide pole.</p> <p>There are two Moorpark fire stations. Station 42 serves the downtown area and station 40 is located in the Mountain Meadows area. The county headquarters are located in Camarillo.</p>
