Julie Bien, Neighbor

Julie Bien grew up in Moorpark.  She recently finished  her Master's Degree in Mass Communication at California State Univeristy, Northridge. Besides writing for Patch.com, she is a freelance writer/photographer for TRIBE Magazine and The Jewish Journal. She also has experience working at various radio stations in Santa Cruz (where she received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology) and San Jose. When not working or contemplating the meaning of life, she can be found painting, hiking, and cooking to unwind.
